A wonderful trip to Cambodia and Vietnam for 10 ni / 11 days with my wife was made possible by Vietnamtour.in. They planned and customised the trip as per our specific requirements and made it a memorable life long experience. We started from Siem Reap - Cambodia, followed by Ho Chi Minh city, Danang- Hoian, Hanoi, Halong Bay in Vietnam. Visa on arrival at both the country was simple process as initial documentations were already done by Vietnamtour. At each of these places, we were received by the tour guide and driver with excellent SUV carrying a name playcard giving a feeling of grandiose. Our accommodation was in 5 star Hotels - Angkor Miracle Resort in Siem Reap, Novotel Saigon in HCM city, Sunrise Premium Resorts & Spa in Hoian, Movenpick in Hanoi and La Regina Legend Cruise in Halong Bay. Trips to the monuments, tourist attractions or shopping requirements were meticulously planned and taken care of by them. The memories and experiences of the Mekong River boat cruise and the cruise on Halong Bay will be treasured by us all our lives. We got a taste of the authentic, traditional local cuisine in both the countries when we were taken for lunch to local houses . Its worth experiencing the simplicity, great hospitality and family values of common inhabitants. Our entire experience of 11 days was made possible by the sincerity, dedication, hard work and meticulous planning by an individual... Mr Trung Hoang, our Travel Consultant. He was always available to us on mob / W/A from the time of planning till we returned home. It gave us a sense of security in a foreign country without knowing the local language for any unforeseen situation. We are extremely thankful to him . Lovely Experience, Wonderful People, Great Hospitality is what we shall always remember. THANK YOU Vietnam Tours, our friends in those two unknown country Mr Trung Vũ Hoàng and the Wonderful people of Cambodia and Vietnam.
Had a very pleasant and satisfying trip with excellent cooperation from vietnamtour.in staff. The English speaking guides seem quite knowledgeable and organizers always care for comfort. Although we personally take all types of meat under the sun the organizer always serves us Hindu meal. Definitely worth the expenses and we would strongly recommend people particularly from Kolkata to participate.
Yes, you can. But you will need to add the single supplement to have a single room throughout your trip.
Yes, you can. Most hotels have triple room but it is often arranged by higher category as the room will be larger. Depending on your requirement and hotel situation, we will choose the suitable category for triple room.
We always recommend packing as light as possible however the specific requirements for your tour will vary widely depending on where and when you are traveling.
Our Travel consultant will advise you about the climate of each destination before your travel so you can pack accordingly. You can also read our post below to get more information.
>> 7 Things South African Tourists Should Remember Before Going to Vietnam
There are two available methods for passport holders from South Africa to choose to apply for a visa to Vietnam. You can either apply for your visa at the local embassy or obtain a visa on arrival with a visa letter.
You need to have a passport which is effective for at least 6 months beyond arrival date, 2 photos 4x6 and 2 blank pages on it for visa stamp (which costs 25$) and a visa letter. When you book tours with vietnamtour.co.za, we will offer a visa letter for free.
Officially, no vaccination is compulsory for traveling in these 5 countries, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand or Myanmar. However, visitors are recommended to be updated with major vaccinations against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, hepatitis A and B, and typhoid fever.
As no anti-malaria vaccination exists nowadays, your doctor will often recommend a course of tablets for travelers visiting mountains and remote places. Please note some medications are required to be commenced up to 3 weeks prior to departure. We always recommend you check this with your local GP/Doctor. However, keeping in mind that Malaria treatment is a heavy treatment, in lieu of such treatment, we recommend you to dress with long shirt and trousers, apply anti-mosquito repellent during the whole day (day and night).
